“Se eu fosse…”

Translation: “If I was…” in Portuguese.

My high school English teacher and bloggy friend Annie posted this meme on her blog today. I quite enjoyed it, especially since I wrote a paragraph for my Portuguese class entitled “Se eu fosse a presidente dos Estados Unidos…” (I’m sure you can translate that for yourself) a few weeks ago. I hope you enjoy it and hopefully do it yourself so I can read it. :)

If I was a month, I would be December because the weather is just chilly enough down here to give me somewhat of a holiday feeling and there is so much to celebrate.

If I was a day of the week, I would be Friday; you still have Saturday and Sunday left to enjoy.

If I was a time of day, I would be sundown, just because it is beautiful.

If I was a planet, I would be Saturn because of its amazing rings and color.

If I was a sea animal, I would be a clown fish; I have a big sense of humor.

If I was a direction, I would be East because there are too many earthquakes out West, lol.

If I was a piece of furniture, I would be a bed, warm and comfy.

If I was a liquid, I would be orange soda because it is so bright and bubbly.

If I was a gemstone, I would be diamond. Not only is it my birthstone, but it describes me so well: rough around the edges until polished… then it shines and is worth a billion!

If I was a tree, I would be a very short one, hehehe.

If I was a flower, I would be a sunflower!

If I was a kind of weather, I would be a sunny 65 degree day.

If I was a musical instrument, I would be a guitar. It’s my favorite.

If I was a colour, I would be hot pink.

If I was an emotion, I would be excitement!

If I was a fruit, I would be a mango, so sweet with a firm center.

If I was a sound, I would be an applause.

If I was an element, I’d be water because I have a strong current…

If I was a car, I would be a VW Beetle.

If I was a food, I would be a chocolate chip cookie.

If I was a place, I would be Rome, Italy.

If I was a material, I would be silk.

If I was a taste, I’d be sweet.

If I was a scent, I would be vanilla.
